File Unavailable ASP code

I created a form and sent the inputs to an asp file where I use the
entry to open an excel file by saying

Response.Redire ct("filename")
I want to use this because I will be sending new reports everyday and
don't want to update the list of available reports for the user to
choose from. This all works fine, my question is...Does anyone know
how to get a pop up or something instead of going to This page cannot
be found error page when the file is not available? Not sure how I
would code it to check for the file and then give me a pop up if it
isn't there.
Thanks

Clarification: What they now see is drop downs for day, month, and

Did my suggestion in the other group not work then?

Got it Mike. Thanks. One more question, is there a way to say
<!--#include virtual="filena me"--> and have that filename be a string I
created?

Thanks again

Hi all, While doing a quite big "set of programs" for a university subject I've found myself in the middle of a problem someone surely has had before, so I'm looking for some help. At one point, I call a python cgi that pickle.load's a file, adds or deletes a registry and dumps the result again in the file. I'm worried that the cgi could be called simultaneously from two or more different computers, thus most probably corrupting the...

Hi All I am working on a site that has a large amount of common html on all its web pages. I am looking for a way to place this in a single file so, if changes are made, I can change this single file and do not have to change each and every page. I have the Java scripting in a common .Js file but have not been able to find a way to do this with my html content.

Hi, I hope this is the most relevant newsgroup for this post. I have a VB.NET app that uses the MapPoint component, and in my app I use pushpins to display/retrieve GPS locations. Occasionally, when I call: objMap.Distance(locNorthPole, locX) my code catches an exception that's raised, the exception is:

My services shows once a while the infamous error "Service Unavailable" (http 503 error). This error happens only if my asp.net application encounters a problem with the SQL Server. In my case it occured when my DB logs were full or the server administrator on the shared server environment restarted the DB. After my ISP restarts the DB, my services are still unavailable, which means I have to connect myself to the webhosting panel and...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
