Window.open returns access denied

under windows 2003

I have a windows 2003 server with a "classic asp" application on it with
some com Dlls doing the business logic

my problem is when i add these DLLS to component services, all my buttons on
my web server start returning the error access is denied. it keeps this
problem if you remove the dlls from component services and restart the
server

does anyone have any ideas about this?

Thanks in advance

Have you checked the permissions for the files you are trying to use? (IUSR_<machine name> must have access)

From the main window, I'm opening a popup window. In that poupup window, the user loads a number of different pages (by submitting forms and clicking on buttons), some of which are in a different domain. But eventually, the user comes back to a page that is in the same domain as the page in the main window. On this page, I'm trying to execute the following script: <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">

I try to open up a window with window.open in javascript. "domain.html" contains domain information 'domain.school.edu'. The "Access denied" problem happens when document.write is trying to put variable s into the new window. Sometimes, it writes successfully, while other times the popup error is "access denied". How to solve this problem? thanks ____________________________ function setup(){ var w =

Hi All, This one is a bit bizarre. My understanding of "Access is denied" with respect to window.moveTo is that it results from a request which would move a portion of the window off screen. The window in question is 480 high by 1000 wide. The screen dimensions are 1024x768. The move request is to 10,10, which would put the max right coordinate of the window at 1010 and the max bottom coordinate at 490. Both coordinates are...

Hi, I wrote a C# program that is calling C++ legacy code to open a serial port (using CreateFile (comPort, GENERIC_READ|GENERIC_WRITE,0,NULL,OPEN_EXISTING,FILE_FLAG_OVERLAPPED,NULL)) .. So far, it works. Now, at startup, I start 4 C# threads. These threads are opening Com ports #2, #3, #4 and #5. Sometimes, these 4 Com ports are opened successfully but, most of the time,

I am getting an Access denied error when I write to a new window. The situation and code are outlined below. I am setting the domain in the main window. The problem is that the window I am popping up never gets it domain set, even though I have coded it to be the same as the main window. I get an Access Denied errror. Four different domains: *localhost.mycompany.com *test.mycompany.com *pilot.mycompany.com

Morning All, I have some code for a website which uses 'window.open' to simulate modal dialog boxes. I use the window.closed property to decide if the window object exists at various points. This has been fine until last week when I started getting javascript 'Permission Denied' errors when I try to access this property. I suspect that a windows update has caused this somehow, as this code has not changed for a very long time. Can...

This script works fine in all browsers/platforms except Internet Explorer 7 for Windows. What can be done to make it work there too? Currently, when the form button is clicked, IE 7 returns to the previous page. <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> function password() { var testV = 1; var pass1 = prompt('Please enter your password.',''); while (testV < 3) { if (!pass1) history.go(-1); if (pass1 == "have to hide the password for now") {

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
