newbie: domain and email on Alibaba Cloud

Hello, this is an easy question from a newbie.


I bought a domain on alibaba cloud MAINLY BECAUSE I needed a couple of email addresses reachable in China mainland.
Somenthing like this :
domain purchased : abcd.com
mail needed : [e-mail], [e-mail]
I was able to create the email sender [e-mail] through the Direct mail console, but that looks to be ok just to send batch emails.
So now I need to understand how:
1. to receive external emails to the new addresses : sent a couple of emails to [e-mail] but nothing happened.. do I need to setup a mail server/client?
2. if yes, any suggestion on how to do it?
I opened a ticket but the answers are a always 'complicated'..., any guide on this topic?
