problems with conf files on a site

1
Hi

I have just transferred a site to my server and edited the conf files there is one in the main folder and one in /conf/ I have set my server as local host with the user name and passwords I have set on the server. Now this is where the fun startes the site just doesnt work I click a link that should return all the results but all it does it load and flick to the home page again. Investigating some errors shows it is trying to connect with weird usernames with no password which of course fails I cant find these usernames anywhere in any of the code
or conf files they just doesnt exist or dont seem to. the site also has its own phpmyadmin folder but pointing at this doesnt work either.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Heya, Skeeve.

I have contacted a moderator to get this moved over to a server admin forum. I'm guessing Apache, based on the fact that you mentioned a conf dir.
