As a re-introduction to linux I recently installed Ubuntu's LAMP server version 7.04.
The issue that I'm having is that I'm having some difficulty getting anything with a .js extension to run. I think, but am not sure, that it's an issue with my Apache config. So, my question is two fold, should the Apache2 install be able to handle .js extensions out of the box, and if not what mods do I need to include for Apache to handle them?
Thank you for your time,
Byron

Javascript is run client-side; that is, it is run on the user's computer, in the web browser, without any processing from Apache.

That's what I thought. I'm perplexed as why the javascript includes don't seem to be registering with my browser. Another point of complication might be that I'm tinkering with Adobe's Spry AJAX framework and there may be some XML things that I'm missing. Any thoughts there?
Thanks for your time.

OK, It is definitely something else... I just loaded spry example and all is working well. I just need to scrape my way through some things. Thank you for your time and help.
