Apache service stops and have to reboot server to start again.

Today was this second time this happened. It occured at 12:00AM on 7/14 and today 7/18 according to the application event viewer.

The event viewer error says: The Apache service named reported the following error:>>> (22505)Access is denied. : Apache.exe: could not open error log file C:/Apache2/logs/error.log.

So I try to start the service and I get this pop up box error:
"Windows could not start the Apache2 on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 1.

When I went to view the error log under C:\Apache2\logs\error.log a pop up box comes up and says, "Access Denied."

At this point I am forced to restart the server and then everything starts up and works as normal.

I then go into the error log to view it (which it allows me to do now) and this is the text that is shown around 12:00AM:

[Wed Jul 18 00:00:23 2007] [notice] Parent: Received shutdown signal -- Shutting down the server.
[Wed Jul 18 00:00:23 2007] [notice] Child 3284: Exit event signaled. Child process is ending.
[Wed Jul 18 00:00:24 2007] [notice] Child 3284: Released the start mutex
[Wed Jul 18 00:00:25 2007] [notice] Child 3284: Waiting for 250 worker threads to exit.
[Wed Jul 18 00:00:53 2007] [notice] Parent: Forcing termination of child process 288

This is what appears after I restart the server:

[Wed Jul 18 08:28:11 2007] [notice] Parent: Created child process 1420
[Wed Jul 18 08:28:14 2007] [notice] Child 1420: Child process is running
[Wed Jul 18 08:28:14 2007] [notice] Child 1420: Acquired the start mutex.
[Wed Jul 18 08:28:14 2007] [notice] Child 1420: Starting 250 worker threads.

I am not sure why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.
