In my computer there are 2 users. One is root and another is x.
when i enter 'localhost' in webbrower it works fine, and take webpages in /var/www folder. When i create a folder named 'public_html' in /home/x and copy webpages to that, and try to type localhost/~x in webbrower it shows an error message. I am using Apache2 in Debian Etch. kindly provide a solution to solve this problem.

When i try to type http://localhost/~x in webpage browser it shows an error message 'requested URL /~x not found. Here x is the user name. I am using Apache2. But it works well in Apache1.3
