apache on our oracle dmz application server

Hi,
I have apache installed on our dmz server, while applying oracle patches some file must have gotten over-ridden as now when I start apache with
httpdsctl startssl
apache starts but not the apache that listens on port 8290, 8200 + 90 which is the port of the oracle instance.
I have looked at the conf files till Im bleary eyed. Our I products work as they use the apache that starts. I have worked with oracle on this and they are drawing a blank too. any assistance would be great, otherwise it looks like I will have to reclone the dmz oracle application

thanks
