Very Strange Problem - PHP is being processed, but all pages throw a Error 324.

6,050 Recognized Expert Expert
I've changed between XAMPP and EasyPHP, and the error occurs on both.

I know the PHP is being processed because if I do something like a header() redirect, it'll redirect to the page, but then show this error:

Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY _RESPONSE): Unknown error.
There are no errors in my apache logs. If I run the php from the command line, I get the correct output.

What was even stranger, when I ran a page with EasyPHP as my test server, it'd load half of the page and then exit.

Getting sick of technology now -.-

Not sure what caused it, but a system restore has fixed it.

Hi I have a client running an Access 2000 database on a small network with 3 pc's. Two of the laptop pcs have a data replica, which they use when not connected to the network, the 'server' being the 3rd machine. The other day they reported that 'suddenly' a whole load of data that they had entered (on to the 'server' main data) that day had 'disappeared'. Not only had the new data gone, but updates performed

I am seeing a very strange problem as follows... I have a loop where a fair amount of processing is going on and near the top of the loop I access a class that has only static helper functions to perform some calculations. After some number of iterations, randomly, I'll get an uncaught NullValueException error on one of these calls, as if the class name is being treated as an object reference and is null. Here is some psuedo-code to...

I have a very funny/strange effect here. if I let the delegate do "return prop.GetGetMethod().Invoke(info.AudioHeader, null);" then I get wrong results, that is, a wrong method is called and I have no clue why. But if I store the MethodInfo in a local variable I works as expected. I do not understand why this is so, shouldn't both ways be semantically equal?

I have the C# web application running on 2 servers - dev and prod. Dev runs Win2K and the prod runs Win 2K3. I noticed some strange behavior on the 2k3 machine. When I copy over all the required files from the 2k server to the 2k3 server, the application works fine. SOMETIMES, when I make a small change to .aspx or .ascx files on prod, with NO changes to the C# code, I get a strange error. The same changes on the dev instance do not...

Hello, i'm struggling with a somehow badly understood session scenario. I provide acces to my pages based on form authentication using Session cookies. Som of my pages are supposed to be running continuously and refreshing once an hour. I there set timeout= 61 in <sessionState section and on my page it says <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="3600">. I also set timeout=120 in the <forms section of web.config to make sure

Hi, I am getting the following error when i try to throw an exception. The exception i throw is caught up in the hierarchy and is rethrown and so on. This error is only coming up when unit testing is being done on the project in debug mode Context 0x197ee0' is disconnected. Releasing the interfaces from the current context (context 0x197d70).This may cause corruption or data loss. To

FAQ 17.3 says: "never throw an exception from a destructor while processing another exception" What mechanism is available for me to know if an exception is being processed? I imagine this knowledge being useful in a case like the following. You have an operation that needs to be done in pairs (e.g. locking and unlocking a Mutex). To make life easier, you create a class to do these for you when you enter/leave a scope. The action...

Friends, your opinions and advice, please: I have a very simple JavaScript image-swap which works on my end but when uploaded to my host at http://buildit.sitesell.com/sunnyside.html does not work. To rule out all possible factors, I made up a dummy page for an index.html to upload, along the lines of <html><head><title></title></ head><body></body></html>.; the image-swap itself is your basic <img src="blah.png"...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
