Mudassar,

Welcome to Bytes!

Are you trying to prevent users from being able to hold the Shift key when opening? There is a way to change the properties of the DB so this can be done. However, this can still be worked around if someone wants to.

Exactly what is it you are trying to do (or prevent)? Once you compile and publish your file and an ACCDE, much of this should be taken care of (if you set up things properly).

A few more details might be helpful for us.

Thanks.

Hi Mudassar.

Welcome to Bytes.com.

It's always very hard to write questions clearly in a foreign language so I'm not really sure what it is you're asking for.

If you want to ensure that users cannot open your project using the Bypass key (Shift) then How to Enforce or Disable the Startup Options (BypassKey) in an Access Database should help with that.

I can see nowhere where this is possible using the interface directly - in either pre- or post-2007 versions.

If you mean something else then I'll need some help understanding what that is.
