Issue updating linked fields after selecting parent in combo box

I have the task of creating a database in which users can quickly obtain details about a certain part by searching for the catalog number.

The issue I am having is that when the catalog number is selected via combo box, the parameters from the fields below are not updating to match.

I have tried coding to update the fields based on other questions i have seen around the internet, but errors tell me that they may not be the same problem I am having. I also have the feeling that the fields in my form are not set up in a manner actually utilizes the relationships I created.

I have linked below a sample of my database

Hi David&Mary.

Welcome to Bytes.com.

I should explain that forums work by your explaining your problem in here, clearly and concisely, and various other members come and take a quick look. If they see something they think they can help with they may take the time and effort to reply.

There are many reasons why giving a database at this stage is generally not welcomed :
  1. Many have firewalls that prohibit downloading data from sites that are not white-listed.
  2. It usually leads to the member (who's asking for help) to assume the reader will do all the work trying to determine what the problem is.
Both of these will put people off from answering your question and the second is why moderators, like myself, will remove any links to such databases.

I'm sure you weren't thinking of it that way, but the effort to make your question understood is your responsibility.

For now there's very little to go on but Example Filtering on a Form may give you what you need. If that doesn't get you moving on the right path feel free to update your question to make it clear exactly what it is you are looking for help with.
