Exporting Access data to Pipe delimited keep number formatting.

P: 1
I am trying to export data from an Access database as a pipe delimited file and when I do that it drops the decimal point and zeroes. So instead of displaying as |123.50| it displays as |123|. I formatted in Access as number fixed and decimal 2 and it appears correctly in Access but not when I export.

You need to give us all the information. How have you exported it? Have you used an IMEX (Import/Export) Spec?

If you want full control over your export you're probably best advised to export a Query rather than the Table. The Query allows you to format the data using the Format() function rather than just the Format property which is generally quite useless.
