Sage Explorer Library reference

1,271 Expert 1GB
I just noticed "Sage Explorer Library" in the list of VBA references available in my installed Office/Access 365. (we use Sage 100). Does anyone out there know how to take advantage of that? I can't find any documentation and Sage tech support has not been helpful. I can't even Dim an object to get any contextual help.

Is there a way for me to explore this library without knowing anything about it? I set a reference to it but so far that's all I've been able to do.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hey Jim!

Long time, no see. I am unfamiliar with Sage, and I don't have that library available.

however, you might be able to access more informaiton if you do an internet search for "sage software development kit sdk".

Such kits often include information for automation via VB(A).

Hope this hepps!

Hey twinnyfo, how are you? Sorry for the lateness of acknowledging your reply. I did find some interesting reading material when I searched for the SDK. Nothing really helped the way I want it to help; that is, I've still got this library available to Access that I have no way of making use of.

However, your suggestion led me to talk to the Sage account guy, who let me to a Sage developer guy who gave me the skinny on getting a Sage developer license. Just 8-grand a year :) :( So that's not my favorite option.

Thank you for your suggestion. It has been helpful.
