Criteria error type mismatch in criteria expression

P: 1
I got a Table with vehicle registrations. I specified the data type as short text. My registration numbers is HDM100MP,HDM200MP,HDM300MP etc.

When I run a query my criteria is example HDM100MP, I get a message Data Type mismatch in criteria expression,

Would you be so pleasant as to post your SQL statement (as long as you strip it of any sensitive information that might be in it)?

This will help us to begin troubleshooting.

Hi Davidou.

Perhaps you could make clear why you have a list of values separated by commas? Do you store multiple values in the same Field in your database? Or is that just a misleading way of explaining your situation?

We do need to understand the question if we're to be able to offer help.
