We've been through this problem before. In at least two other threads, we've provided guidance to get you on the right track.

However, you have not provided us any code or other necessary information to do any type of troubleshooting.

We are very willing to help you with this, but you are making it difficult for us to proceed.

I've deleted at least one such thread recently, with the explanation that it doesn't meet the minimum requirements of a question on this forum. Those requirements are explained fully and clearly in the Sticky thread (How to ask "good" questions -- READ BEFORE SUBMITTING A QUESTION!) at the top of the forum. It's hard to miss - especially for a member who's been with us for barely a year shorter than I have myself. Some work is required in order to post a question that deserves an answer and it appears that you consistently want to post your questions without ever taking the time or energy to post them properly.

There are very good reasons that we require this level of information. Let me share the main ones here :
  1. Without the basic level of information our experts will have a lot of difficulty helping. After all, it's hard to provide an answer if the question doesn't make sense.
  2. As a general rule, we understand that such lazily-posted questions end up with many posts going backwards and forwards before we can help. Thus wasting much time and energy of people who come here to try to help you. That's disrespectful behaviour.
  3. Most of our experienced experts understand this as they've seen it thousands of times before, so they won't even bother to get involved. IE. Your question doesn't get you the help you want.
  4. When experts see a lot of such threads they tend to leave the site and look elsewhere in order to help people. The site gets a reputation for allowing lazily-posted questions so all the best experts avoid it.
Please understand that, as an administrator, my approach is to protect our valuable assets (Experts and reputation) and ordinary members come very much lower down on that list. In simple terms that means we can far more easily afford to lose you as a member than we can afford to lose either our experts or our reputation.

We're not looking to lose members particularly, but please be aware that repeated failure to follow simple and basic rules may well lead in that direction. We don't expect any more than basic adult behaviour. Take the time and effort to prepare your question properly before posting it here. It isn't anyone (or everyone) -else's responsibility to do your work for you.

twinnyfo and Neopa.... please be informed that my vba / programming is not good. So I feel difficulty to explain my code as there is no Code in my database.

If your portal is to support / help new programmers, then there should be some exemptions / relaxation. So please understand for me, it is very difficult to clear my problem where I am making mistake in my database.

I have read many articles on this topic and tried to follow, but I could not succeed. I attached my Sample DB bcz I can't explain what is the problem and what could be the solution.

Hope you understand my point. Regards

Have you looked at this Thread (Retrieve Values from a Multi-Select Listbox), as I suggested to you previously?

As you can clearly see, we are doing everything we can to offer you solutions. However, you must put forward at least a minimal amount of effort.

You say that your VBA is not very good. That's not a problem. But the only way you will learn VBA is by using it, making mistakes, trying again, troubleshooting and working out the kinks. This methodology is true for anything any human being has ever done, whether it is learning to walk, talk, play a guitar, carve a piece of wood or learn a new language (and VBA is essentially a foreign language). You have to work at it.

I've been doing this for more than 20 years; NeoPa's been doing this since the first electron skipped between atoms. We weren't born with these abailities--we've had to learn, learn, learn. We are trying to help you learn.

Hope this hepps!

Let's see what we can do with this.

I have an article (Cascaded Form Filtering) that I believe helps with exactly that sort of question. Once you select a Company it puts only Regions that relate to that Company in the Region list. Once you select a Region it puts only Territories that relate to that Region in the Territories list.

If I'm right to think that's what you want then please go through that article and either :
  1. Tell us that everything works perfectly and you're happy.
  2. Tell us, as clearly as you can, exactly what happens when you try that approach and copy into your post any of the code that is involved (Unless it's exactly the same as that in the article in which case just tell us that).
We understand English isn't your first language. No-one will judge you on failing to be clear. Only on not trying or not including the information that is necessary (Which doesn't change depending on your skill with English).

Let's see if we can get a result with this question and help you to make, and understand, a system that does what you want it to do.

Dear Neopa ... thanks for your reply.

As I already mentioned that vba code is little bit difficult for me to understand. I am trying to learn but ....

I have read your article and tested the attached file. Sorry it does not meet my requirement.

I am trying to make 2 combo box with 1 list box. But in your file it is only one combo box.

It is my request to please ignore your rules for a moment. My DB is attached with tables, form with 2 combo and 1 list. Please amend it as per my requirement i.e. selection of Company, Region and Territory....
Hoping for help.

I have to admit to being a little surprised at your response.

Still no evidence of any work on your part. A flagrant disregard for the rules, yet again. And to top it off you request that someone else go to the trouble you don't seem to be bothered to go to on your own behalf.

If your need is such that even to start doing some work on your own project is too much for you then you should consider hiring someone to do the work for you. Expecting volunteer experts simply to do it for you is both insulting and Naive. We're here to give assistance to fellow Access developers - not just anyone who needs their Access work done for free.
