How to create alerts in Microsoft Access

1
I am trying to create a count sheet to count surgical instruments in Microsoft access to fire alerts when a count is incorrect. For example, if the starting count number is 8 and an incorrect number is added, I want to create an alert to the user that that count is incorrect. Please help me on what I need to do to accomplish this. Thanks

Just compare the starting count and the value entered. If they are different, then implement a Message Box to inform the user.

Presumably there's some logic that allows your project to determine whether or not any input value is correct?

It might be a good idea to include this basic information in your question.
