Search multiple fields using check boxes or option group

1
I am using MS Access 2010 & 2016.

It is my first time learning using MS Access and VBA. In the database, I did a search using SQL query with 1 text box searching 7 fields. Plus, I would like to try to search selected fields(one or more) using option group or check boxes. Additionally, there is "Enter parameter value" pop-up that I would like to get rid off.

I can't seem to find any solution so I ask here. I really appreciate your help and thank you in advance

Ricky,

Welcome to Bytes!

You should know that the experts here are not going to simply download your DB and try to analyze it for you. Please review this article on How to ask good questions first, and then repost a response.

We are glad to help, but we will not do the work for you.

Thanks!

Having had a quick look at your Db, I note there are two tables which do not have a relaionship (Is Project_Title the common factor)

There is no primary key for Table 2018.

There appears to be repeating data in the field "Classification"

Databases will never work unless the table structure and relationships (the foundation of any Db) are set up correctly

Might I suggest you read up on Normalisation and Db design.
See https://bytes.com/topic/access/insig...ble-structures
and/or a document called "Database Design Normalisation.docx:" in https://bytes.com/topic/access/answe...ent-field-null

I also think it would help if you tell us what your database is supposed to do. It appears to be something to do with project management, but 2018 looks like a date & I have no idea what MDF is supposed to be.

I also advise against very ling field names like "Date_of_Request_for_MDF_inspection_takeover" something like "DateMDFTakover" is just as clear. Having to type that very often will wear your fingers to the bone!
