System Resources Exceeded when creating ACCDE

Getting a System Resources Exceeded error when attempting to create an ACCDE file.

I did some research on this, and it appears that many of the people that were getting this error were using Windows XP, and were getting it when opening tables in design view or other random Access tasks. I didn't see any that were getting it when creating an ACCDE.

This is Access 2013 running on Windows 10.

Any thoughts?

I have nothing particular to that problem but I do know of problems creating an ACCDE when the project doesn't compile. Access (fairly) often gives off spurious error messages when it gets confused. This sounds like it could be one of those.

There should be stuff out there on what steps to take to ensure an MDB or ACCDB can be converted to MDE/ACCDE.

Interesting thoughts. I did have the thought yesterday to possibly decompile the database and then recompile it, so that would seem to fit with what you are saying.

I will research converting to ACCDE.

Thanks.
