Issue exporting Access Report to Rich Text File formatting

When exporting an Access report to Rich Text file, the report is loosing formatting. The report when open has moved data from the header and insert line spaces.

Rich Text Format is not the most reliable format available.

I suggest you take some time to consider what exactly you need, and then start working in that direction in future.

MsSabrina1970,

Welcome to Bytes!

Good advice from NeoPa. Because I know RTF reports will always have formatting issues, I very rarely use them. The only time we produce RTF reports, with the full expectation of the formatting being being off, is when we send a product that we need (or expect) e-comments in return from our customers.

If you want a fully formatted report in electronic format, I would suggest exporting to PDF.
