Automation error and startup problems

1
An access database that I use everyday just started this morning when you click on it , it returns the message : "Id" is not an index in this table. You have to click it several times then it brings the Access database but refuses to open any form or report or module and not even in design mode. If you get into any code , you eventually receive the Automation error.

First thing is create a backup copy of your database.

Try a compact and repair and see if the problem goes away

If not:
  1. From the Run prompt enter "msaccess /decompile" and run it.
  2. recompile your database.

That's all I have.

Use or designed.

If you're simply a user of the database project then I suggest you get in touch with whoever designed it and/or supports it. Please don't consider this forum as a substitute for your help desk.

If designed then you need to formulate a proper question with information we can work with. What you've posted has almost nothing to indicate where the design problem may be.
