Refreshing Data in Table After Saving Data From a Form

P: 23
I have an inventory input form that receives multiple input data in one textbox and then uses the split() function to deliver them as individual records to the table.

If I then go to the table to view the input data, the data doesn't appear until I click the 'Refresh All' button on the home panel. I am looking for a way to implement this refresh button through code in my form...

i.e
After my
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DoCmd.Close acForm, "InventoryInputF"
  2.
I need some code to refresh or 'update' the table so the viewer can immediately see the changes

I have found multiple references to using the re-query commend but all references seem to talk about the form...

i.e.

YourFormName.Requery

To me this seem to affect the form rather than represent some code that can replace the user clicking 'refresh all'
Thank you!

In that case I would suggest you need to consider and update your understanding. What is happening makes sense. Your understanding of it - not so much.
