acess 97 linked table manager will not update when prompted

1
I am a happy user of access 97 with a large old database. Switched computers installed acces 97 all is working, except the linked table manager. When I select all tables and select always ask for a new location to get it to work from then new location of the dbase. I click ok. Nothing happens, what am i missing in steps?

thanks!

My guess would be that you are missing the database driver that you were using, or the Database driver is different. How were you connecting to your data and do you know what driver you were using?
