Transferspreadsheet function is selecting all worksheets exported

I have a function that exports two queries to an existing Excel workbook using the transferspreadsheet function. The existing worksheets are overwritten with new data as expected. This has been working for several weeks. All of a sudden the function completes, does not throw an error, saves the file but does not update the data in the existing worksheets. When I open the workbook, both worksheets are selected and this appears to be preventing the data from being replaced. Looking for suggestions on how to workaround. VB to deselect the worksheets before proceeding to the next? Thanks all

Would you please post the code?
Remember to select the code-script in the post once you cut and paste it and then click on the [CODE/] button in the code toolbar to properly format the script.

Also, which version of Office/Access/Excel are you using and in what operating environment.

Finally, just to be sure, the Excel workbook is closed during the Access transfer?
