Some of my access databases denied to open, I saw an error message: Unrecognized database format. I don't know how to solve the issue. Is there a way to repair access file? Any tips...

I don't know if it will help... That's the error message you will typically get if the database is created in Access 2016 and you attempt to open it with Access 2007.

If the database is created in Access 2007 and you are opening it in access 2007 or later version, then maybe your file is corrupted.

First of all, you can try the build-in "Compact and Repair" command in Access to repair your corrupt database.

If the above method does not work, then you can try third-party Access data recovery tools, such as DataNumen Access Repair.

I have used the tool in the past and it helps recovering some valuable data for me. The tool has a free demo so that you can try before you buy.
