Updating an open form after entering new records

1
Hi all,

Just ran across an issue that is driving me crazy as I've tried many solutions.

I have a calendar form that tracks events. The record source is a record-set based on a query. This calendar allows folks to enter new events in a separate form called eventsEntryForom.

The problem is, once a record is saved in the eventEntryForm, the calendar form does not reflect the changes unless I close and re-open the calendar.

I have tried requerying the Calendar by using
Forms![Calendar_New].Requery

I also tried opening my eventsEntryForm in Dialog mode, followed by a requery, and still no answer. Any help appreciated.

Requerying the calendar form should work. What is unusual about your setup?
