Is access the best for administering quizes?

Hello Bytes Community,
I work for an organization that gives out training exams almost twice a month, the employee count is almost 200 and all this training quizzes are done on paper. We would like to transition to digital and we are not sure if access is the best to use for making multiple choice questions?
Please help.

I can guide you in the creation process using Access, but I don't have any articles of reference in knowing what is the best solution. I'm not sure which you are asking for.

I would say that Access can do a very good job of what I understand you to be wanting to do. If you are wanting to get started using Access, then I would recommend reading Database Normalization and Table Structures. It is very important to have a properly constructed table base so that your data is more useable. Once you read the article, write down all the different pieces of data that you will need (user names, tests, possible answers, correct answer, chosen answer, etc.) and then using the information found in the article, draw up a diagram of how the information relates to each other.

Access can do that, absolutely. Is it best? Only you can decide that as it depends on what you need it to do. It can certainly improve your system compared to paper. It also depends on what systems your developers know. Are you wanting a web-based solution or a desktop solution? To even help you, we would need to know a lot more about what you are wanting.

Thank you for the prompt response. The solution I would like to work with right now is just a desktop solution. The questions are multiple choice questions with 4 choices for every question.

Do you have any articles of reference I could look up to guide me through all this process, as I would like to have it automated to where once the quiz is completed I have a record of who has completed & who has not.
