is it possible to do a Dsum/Dcount from the same form?

I have a split form called "Availability" with few cloumns i.e ,AssignedHr,Manager,Asst: Manager etc. I want to do a Dsum in a text box for Assigned hours column based on the manager name selected in the combobox in the form header.
