How to reset a bound form in access

I have a lot of fields on the form but when I try to clear the form with a command button, I can't. When I create the command button with the wizard and put in the expression for adding another record it saves the fields and clears the form for next entry. But, when I print it, I realize the data from the table is still in the form, it's just not visible. I want a way to completely reset the form and save the fields in the table. I'm a complete noob, so please excuse the idiocy in the details. Any help is appreciated.

accessbuilder:
A bound form cannot be "reset" as such.
The fields are tied to the underlying table/query.
Thus, when you make a change to the field, it is "in real life" once the record is saved.

What it sounds like you are attempting to do is create a blank, unbound form, something I do often for new records; however, it does take a lot of effort to properly implement.

I'm PM'ing a copy of my new Access user's text that has a tutorial and several resources that you will eventually need to properly design and implement your database in Access. Please check your Bytes.com inbox
