How do I convert currency to text in Microsoft Access 2007 in order to display the result on a report?

If you are looking drop a Currency Field on a Report and then have it display with the currency symbol($, f, €), commas, and a couple decimal places, you can use set the Format Property of the Field. This should give you the same formatting as using Format() function with a "Currency" Parameter.

I believe this uses Localization/Regional settings to determine the actual currency format. So the Currency Format will be that of the computer running the Report.

If you want to get a little more specific about the Format, you can use the FormatCurrency() Function. I think this still uses Localization, but you can take control of a few things, like wheter or not to show the currency symbol or put parenthesis around negative value.
