I need my report to be sorted by descending semester, and I can't get it to work

When generating reports based off a query/form, it is supposed to be sorted by semester (Fall 2015, Winter 2015, Fall 2014, Winter 2014, Fall 2013, Winter 2013) and it use to appear in that order, but when I opened access this week it stopped and now 2013 appears between 2015 and 2014. I've remade the form/query and rerun the report and it still won't appear correctly. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I've also tried sorting it in layout view right in the report and it causes 2015 to appear last

You might want to check the Report's OrderBy Property as well as it's OrderByOnLoad property.

It's hard to know what to tell you as you haven't explained what you've changed or even what you've set in an attempt to set the sorting.

For reports though, ordering is generally managed by Sorting and Grouping from the View menu or ribbon.
