Microsoft comes with a Speech API that gives you access to the SpVoice object. It allows you to script text to speech actions. Documentation on that object can be found at microsoft's website: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...(v=vs.85).aspx

Next to the Quick Access Toolbar, click Customize Quick Access Toolbar.
Click More Commands.
In the Choose commands from list, select All Commands.
Scroll down to the Speak command, select it, and then click Add.
Click OK. If you still feel any problem, do let me know!

That only works in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and OneNote. To do it in Access you will have to use the API provided by Microsoft.
