How to create C5 envelope format

P: 2
Hi,
I have to print 50 envelopes per month from my Access 2002 database. I have created a report, based on a query, that contains names and addresses from my database. However, when I print on C5 envelopes, I always get a blank envelope following a printed envelope. I have changed the size of the report several times but always get the same result. Any ideas, please?

The only thing that I can think of right now that can cause this is exceeding the Page Width for the Envelope. Make sure that the Report's Width is less than the Width of the Envelope minus the Margins. Also take into account if it is printing Portrait or Landscape, probably needs to be Landscape.

So if it is Landscape, the width of the Envelope is 9.02". With Narrow Margins (not all printers support Narrow Margins) at .25 on each side, you would need to keep the width of the Report to less than 8.52.

Hi jforbes,
thank you for your reply.

Before I received it I read through another related thread on this site and discovered a comment saying that the setting for Detail property "Can Grow" should be 'No'. I did that and the problem was solved.

Can't remember who wrote this but thank you both very much. It's a Happy Day. Maren
