Access Runtime

Background:
Front end: MS Access 2010/VBA
Back end: MS SQL Server 2008

I have an Access 2010 program that uses a SQL server backend. All is fine when it runs with a PC with a full copy of MS Access. On a PC with Access Runtime (no copy of Access) I run the msi pkg and get the following
error msg: " You can't carry out this action at the present time." What am I doing wrong? By the way,
other pgms run just fine on the pc with Access Runtime installed.

Do you mean that you can run other Access Runtime Projects on these PCs, just not this particular Access Runtime Project?

What MSI package are you trying to run? Are you trying to install Access Runtime, or the packaged database?

I found an article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc136539.aspx that recommended to put an On Error GoTo label in the VBA application. I did so, found and corrected the problem. The problem was an incompatible ODBC SQL Server driver.
