Does Microsoft Access have to run on Internet Explorer

P: 1
We use Access for our order processing and it uses Internet Explorer to retrieve data from our website. However, there is an issue with our internet connection at our office and Access won't run on this connection. It runs with every other internet connection that we've tried.

The error message that appears tells us that there is an error with the internet explorer connection.

We are wondering if a easy fix would be to have Access pull our information from a different internet browser to hopefully resolve this isssue.

Any advice would be appreciated! Access novices over here!

How are you using Access to retrieve data from your website? This is the first place to start. If Access is calling for Internet Explorer, then there may be options of using a different browser.

Is your data on a SharePoint site or is it stored via some other means?

You haven't provided much information for us to go on.
