Run time error "3008"

P: 23
Hi

I am new in access. Ihave a form "RecMonthlyInstallment" created from Table "RecMonthlyInstallment". In the form I have command button which executes a macro named "POST MONTHLY INSTALLMENT". When click the command button the error message arrives. The macro individually works good but when i use the form it does not work. If I delete it then comes the message "the table is exclusively opened by other user , cannot be manipulated programaticaly" . Please help me figure the problem out.

Thanks.

I don't know much about Macros as I don't use them. From the Error it looks like your Macro is attempting to update (or at least access) a Table that is currently locked by something or someone else. This can happen if you have a Table open in Design View. This can also happen if you are using a Form with it's RecordLocks property set to something other than No Locks and attempt to access the records from another place.

Bottom line is that two processes are attempting to Exclusively access the same record(s).
