point value problem when i multiplying the two field

i am trying to multiply field 1=88 with field 2=.75 but thay change the 2 field to value 1 now what i should can do.

When you multiply the values does it still come out to 66?

It could be that the format of your control for field 2 is set to zero decimal places. Change it to 2 (or more).
