Increase Records in MS Access Database

Apologies this is a basid question but I am new to MS Access!

My Company has been using a MS Access Database, for an Employee Survey, for the past 6 years, based on up to 150 Employees.

We now have 200 employees so I need to increase the "record" from 150 to 200

Does anyone have any suggestions?

thanks
Lois

Just add the records. Access's limit on records is only a data size of 2GB. You will need to provide a more detailed question for us to really help you.

I have added a couple of screenshots.

If we choose "enter employee survey data" - it opens up into the (see 2nd screenshot) However (see highlighted) there are a maximum of 150 records allowed.

I want to allow for at least 50 more records, i.e 50 more Employees

Thanks
Lois

I can't open attachments at work. This must be a limit that the designer put on the program, so either you contact that person to see what they did to create the limit, or you are going to have to start digging. There are probably hundreds of ways to create the limit, so I can't really give you a good idea where to look.

Lois,

I cannot open zip files at work either. I think both Seth and I are confused by the limit of 150 records. Where is this limit being set (and how)? MS Access does not have record limits.

Moderation Comment:
If this is an "in house" application that your company designed, we'll do the best we can to help; however, if this is a commercial application then you must contact the developer of the application and work with them otherwise you risk violating your terms of use for that program.

If this is in-house, then it sounds as if the database might not be normalized. We would need to have your table structures.

As you've seen, many of us (including myself) are not able to open other peoples programs while at work.

What we need you to do is:
List the database tables and how they are related to each other, we may also need you to list the table fields; however, for now:

[table name one]
(short description of the table's function)

[table name two] related to [table name one]
(short description of the table's function)

[table name three] related to [table name one]
(short description of the table's function)

etc...
