How to refresh Table (as is done by F5) using Ms Access VBA?

KhadkaSaroj
Hi there!

I have a Form having comboboxes and labels which show the corresponding records of a Table. The Form is meant to delete records of Table but when a record is deleted I can see #DELETED on the table cells which were deleted. Later, when I refresh the table manually by pressing F5, #DELETED on the cells are gone but what I want is that every time a record is deleted by clicking DELETE command button on the form, the table should be refreshed (as is done by pressing F5) automatically.

So, I am searching for the code to refresh a Table on Access using VBA (from Form). I did search on Google but none of the solutions were exactly matching my problem. Tried using
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.  Me.Requery
but it didn't work in my case .
Please help!
Thanks!

P.S. I am new on Access VBA! :)

KhadkaSaroj,
Welcome to Bytes.com. Always good to see new posters.

Normally, deleting a row on a form has the effect you ask for. So, I'm wondering what code you're using to do the deletes. How are you deleting records? Do you have record selectors showing on the form? What happens if you select a row and hit the delete key on the keyboard?

Also, where is this Me.Requery instruction? You could try changing that to NameOftheForm.Requery. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.15).aspx
