How to open a secured Access 2000 database

I have and old access 2000 mdb file created by a WPF application that another company created. I need a way to access it to migrate the data to a new WPF application. I used a software to get the password for the database and is indeed the right one (when i put another password a different kind of message pops up saying I have the wrong password). When i try t open it this message pops up:

“You don’t have the necessary permissions to use the <name> object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you.”

I have tried to use a workgroup file (MDW) but although I pass the first request for credentials for the workgroup I can't pass the second level when asking the password where the same message appears.

I think the problem is that the company that created this used another workgroup file for development and another for deployment where in the second case they restricted access even to the admin so that only their software can read the database. Is there a way to grant permissions to the admin again and open it?

Many thanks

I'm afraid we can't help with such a question as it involves instructions on how to get around security features.

That said, without the appropriate MDW file available it would never be easy anyway.

As NeoPa has stated... very sorry about this.
My advise is to:
1) Look for an export feature.
2) Look for a report feature.
3) Contact either the vender of your new software
4) Contact the vender of your old application
