Access Exchange mailbox with VBA

Hello,

I'm trying to access an Exchange mailbox in Access 2003 with VBA. The mailbox of the user I want to access is not logged on to the computer so I've to have the possiblity to logon within VBA with the user's credentials. I want to see the total amount of unread messages and the total messages in the Inbox. I don't want to use a mailclient like Outlook. I've looked all over the internet but I couldn't find the right code to make this possible. Can anyone please help me with this question?

Thank you very much for helping me out!

Typically exchange servers are locked down pretty securely, so people cannot access these accounts. Typically, MS Access can automate mail (i.e. Outlook), but it is only from the user's profile. I have seen a post or two about posting items to another user's calendar, but I have not been able to make it work with another user's profile, only my own (again, this is due to the nature of e-mail security).
