how to add data into ms access table from various excel sheets

HI,

I am new the ms access programming(VBA). During my work there is need to import 3 columns data into ms access table from various excel sheet and excel sheets format is not always same For example. we have 3 columns in ms access item code, item description, item price. So in excel these columns not always on standard.

Can anyone help how can i import the data and can only import the columns with heading Item code, item description and item price.

Are you trying to do this by manually linking to the spreadsheets and running queries, or do you want a VBA solution? Something like a form with a browse button to locate the spreadsheet and then a button to accomplish the import?

If there is browse button for locating file that would be great and then i have to choose what columns i would like to add.

Try Select a File or Folder using the FileDialog Object for selecting a file.
