Reports not printing any data but shows correct in print preview

I've used MS Access 2003 to create a Plumbers database. It worked fine for a year but suddenly the Invoices wont print, they look fine in print preview but no data is printed only the design that is saved as part of the report. I've tried old versions of the Db and on another computer with a different printer but same result, no data printing. I can't think what else to try, I've done detect and repair and uninstalled and installed printer again. Its seems very strange its affected all copies of the database on 2 computers.
Any help would be galdly received as Plumber needs to send out invoices.

Welcome to Bytes! Do any of your other reports still print, or is it only this one report that fails to print.

I don't have any specific insight, other than I know that sometimes Access can have a mind of its own. In a worst case, I would try this:

Create a new report and then copy and paste all of the controls from the old report onto the new one (do not just copy and paste the report as a whole). This sounds ridiculous, but I have encountered similar problems in the past, and there is just some weird bug in Access that causes things like this to happen and the only solution I have found is to re-create the report or form that is not working.

The same problem is happening in all of my reports.

Your problem sounds bigger than just the particular report, and my suggestions may not help.

Have any other changes occurs to your db? Anyhting at all? Updates? Upgrades? Anything?

The last update I did was for the printing of the onvoice where I put a me.dirty etc.. bit of code in to make sure report printed without having to preview. I didn;t add this to any other reports though. Thanks for considering my problem.

Thinking about it I have probably done a windows update in this time. My problem is teh plumber has got behind with invoicing and hasnt used teh database for 3 weeks and its hard to remember what I've done to which computers in that time.

Is the Me.Dirty in the Report? Reports typically don't get changed after they are opened. I wonder if that has anything to do with it, but as you stated, none of your reports are working properly....

No the me.dirty is in the VBA code of a form, used to open the report.

Hi, I have tried new reports etc no text prints even the text that is part of the report and not passed to it via tables. Just tried on the childrens new laptop and printed fine. Glad it's working but not sure what the long term fix will be. Will let you know if I ever understand this

Same Printer? I think the sudden stoppage of the report is what is so befuddling....
