How I can show progress through Yes/No Icons in Access 2010?

Hi!
I want to show a progress percentage through Yes/No icon in Access 2010.
I mean I need to assign a number of one (for Yes) or zero (for No) in the corresponding fields. then I want to sum up these values and get a percentage through mathematical functions.
How can I assign these values and sum up them and at last show their percentage in required field?

rainymoon,
Welcome to Bytes. Always glad for new posters.

Are you doing this on a form or in a query or some other way?

Thanks for your warm welcome.
I just want to do it in a table, as one of its columns,is it possible?
I have a lot of data, for each I want to have this ability that could be updated through time and changes, and I can have it in a report.
If I want to explain it in details, I have a column for Projects' name and for each project I have nearly 8 columns that with Yes/No data type, each would show one of the project's progress level. they could be checked or unchecked. I want to show progress through calculating how many of them were checked.
