Conditionally update a table based on a field generated in a query

5
Hi All. I am somewhat new to Access VBA and am a little stuck. I have a table that contains training material. There is a form that edits the material in a temp table. Following a change, an approval form is generated for each "approver" to check once they review the changes. I created a query that has a new field called FINAL and if all approvers checkboxes are true in the temp table, it is marked as true.
The next step would be to update the original table with all lines that are true on the FINAL field, else keep the original data. I am not sure how to do this and with some searching I found it could be an update query but I am limited in understanding that query and how to do a potential if statement around the FINAL field.
Both tables have the same ID.
Let me know if additional information is needed. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
