problem with percentage format in access 2003

6
hi every one
i have data base with a table linked to excel table the excel table has a column with percentage format based on an embeded calculation among columns
there is a form with multiple comboboxes to enable the user to search the records " for example the employee with effeciency over 85%" when i choose 85% from this combobox " if it is rounded "then the resulting form is empty
all of combobox, table and the resulting form has the format of percentage/auto
i tried to make the table single instead of double but still nothing
thank you

For right now, remove the % format from both sides so that 85% becomes 0.85, etc...

Now select the 0.85 and see what happens...

More than likely things will work as you expected, this has to do with the fact the the % is hiding the true numerical value and that is what you need to deal with in the query.

thank you zmbd, but
i tried what you said ,and the numbers have over 15 decimal digits and hard to read . but even though the form is empty unless the number has one or 2 decimal digits but i can't fix it because it is a result of calculations
