Can't get yes/no check box to work in form

489 256MB
I've added some yes/no columns to a table in my database. Now I've put those into a form when I bring up the form the box has a black square in it and even though I have an event behind, the "on click" it does something when I click on the check box nothing happens. The black square just stays there. In design mode the box shows a check. I have other check boxes on the form and they work fine. I've checked all the settings and the one that doesn't work has the same settings. The form is feed by a query and I can from the design form call up the query and enter the check in the field but when I bring up the form it still shows the check box with the black square in it. I'm at a my wits end trying to figure out why.
Again any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What data item is bound to the checkbox, if any? Is it a yes/no field?

Yes it is a Yes/no field I can go into the query that feeds the form and put a check in it but not in the form. Even with the check box checked in the query it still will not show up in the form.

Check all the properties of that checkbox. Maybe it is not enabled, or locked. Maybe you just need to delete and recreate it and you'll never know what was wrong with this one.

I'm going to put this on hold for awhile. I've checked all the settings and they seem the same. I've go some other things that are more pressing.
Thanks for all your help. I will try and delete them are start over the next time.
