Site permissions to web table on sharepoint web sit in office 365

I wish to add new records to a daily log web table. Using the macro action save record, it tells me the table is read only. I can enter data in a data view screen, why not from a form?' It has an auto counter index for the primary key. Please advise. Thanks

because 365 has issues and is almost worse than WindowsME in concept.

The form has at least one control that is not compatable with the sharepoint site.
