Ramba,
Bytes is not a code nor homework service. We can, and will, help you when you get stuck with a specific question; however, teaching the basics of database design and project development is simply beyond the scope of the site.
Even with that said, I really want to point you in the right direction!!!!!!
There are many articles to be located in:
Bytes > Sitemap > Microsoft Access / VBA Insights
I think that one of the most important of these, especially when starting a new database, covers the basic concept of "normalization." If you can master this concept, the rest of the database almost designs itself! :-)
Database Normalization and Table Structures.
So read thru the above link.
Take a few moments to organize your data and go from there.
I would also suggest looking at:
42.Cascaded Form Filtering 156.Cascading Combo/List Boxes 168.Example Filtering on a Form.
You will more than likely want a few forms that do exactly what these articles will help you to create.
Finally, will also want to find a good tutorial site.
My favorite (applecore99) appears to be suffering from an i-frame attack at the moment so I can't recommend going to their website - which really sucks as the step by step was really very good and I haven't been able to find one that matches the basics nearly as well.
Best of luck with your project.
If you get stuck on the table design,
Query,
or
forms
then by all means, please come back with a specific question.... keeping in mind that the more detail you provide the better we can help you!
