Recalculating a New Sort Order for an Access Table or Query

I have a table of data where I want to change the sort order. The sort will be based upon the user's opinion as to the order of tasks. I have assigned a sort number but changing the sort number of one item can necessitate the adjustment of hundreds of other sort numbers.

Drag and drop adjustments would be nice... is that possible?

You don't have to make the changes one at a time. Instead, create a query to change the order for you.
