MS access switchboard

19
The ms access swichboard is working in good fashion. What I need to do is make it more flexible while opening and closing other objects in MS access like forms and reports.

the switchboard form holds up upon the start of access and still shows up after openning a report for example untill I close it.

I need to minimize it and dealing with access freely then bach again to the switchboard if I want.

Thanks in advance

My advise is to stop using the switchboard as it's no longer available in Access 2013.
Personally I use my own forms with buttons to create the form navigation I want. In general my frmMain holds the most important sections (Maintain object, Print, System settings, etc.) and optionally a notes field or subform holding warnings or actions to be performed ("Refresh monthly import","Free formatted reminder of user(s)", etc.)

All my forms have a "OnActivate" with a "DoCmd.Maximize form". Thus my application gets the same interface as a browser, hiding the previous form and showing it again when closing the visible form.

Idea ?
